Ready for Series A

Ready (YC S20) is building tools to close the digital divide. In early 2021, Ready hired GTP to help fill key hires and provide fractional people support in preparation for a Series A. 

GTP was engaged to act as Head of Talent. We helped source high-caliber candidates, define necessary skills and experience per role, conduct interviews, and negotiate offers, all while advising the co-founders at every step of the process. 

Results

In 5 months, we hired nearly a dozen key roles including: VP sales, account executives, project managers, SWEs, QA, growth designer, VP community engagement, digital community director, and EA. 

We built an inclusion-based narrative about Ready’s company mission and culture, and tackled early company growing pains, like researching benefit offerings, building the first org chart, and creating a framework for team leveling.
